Welcome to the Institute of Technology, Mechanization and Construction Management

The Institute of Technology, Mechanization and Construction Management provides teaching in the fields of Construction Implementation, Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Construction Materials Engineering. It is focused on the areas of construction process technology, construction machinery and mechanization in construction, pre-production and production preparation of construction, planning and management of construction implementation and the use of computer technology in these activities.

The current head of the institute is Ing. Mgr. Jiří Šlanhof, Ph.D. In addition to teaching and scientific activities, he is the head of the field of Construction Realization, he works in the doctoral study board for the field of Civil Engineering, in the branch pedagogical board for the field of Construction Management, he is the chairman of the commissions for state final examinations at the faculties of Civil Engineering in Brno, Prague and Bratislava, a member of the commission for state doctoral examinations for the field of Civil Engineering and an examiner of ČKAIT for authorization examinations in the field of Civil Engineering.
